They come around mainly at night so most of my "sightings" around Otter Lake are night shots on my wildlife cameras. At the end of 2025 we started getting frequent sightings of a fox on the camera, and at one point there were two of them hunting on our land. We later found out they had a den near the culvert on Salmon Lake road and on a couple of occasions when driving back in the dark we saw up to 4 tiny kits scampering away in the headlights. Finally I got a good daytime sighting with camera at hand when one of the foxes casually crossed through The Ottery while I ate lunch.
