The EcoMuseum has some beautiful melanistic variants - "Silver foxes".
They come around mainly at night so most of my "sightings" around Otter Lake are night shots on my wildlife cam. I have had a fleeting, but magnificent encounter as one crossed Otter Point Lane just in front of us in daylight - with no camera at the ready alas
