These two became regular visits, feeding from our small bit of flat land around our campfire every evening at summer time - just for our enjoyment!
For a week in April 2026 we were hearing a sound like a jack-hammer resonating through the house, finally realising it was a flicker drumming on our gutters. Eventually a second flicker started being seen in the area and the drumming stopped. So presumably the first flicker was successful in summoning a mate!
