Taken as we took our electic boat to explore Big Salmon Lake. Boat in motion, one hand on the tiller, so not the greatest photos.
We don't see any many common mergansers in Otter Lake for most of the year. But they tend to gather here in thier dozens prior to migrating, seeming to hang around till the last minute before the lake completely freezes over.
