This chap suddenly appeared as a silhouette on my window one night, probably looking for insects attracted by the light. The first photos of him outside were taken against the maroon window frames where he appeared yellowy-brown. In the later photos he has moved to the green wood siding and had changed his colour to green to match the background.

The same (or similar) made several appearances in following weeks during daytime. In the daylight it seemed very reluctant to move, seeming oblivious of my getting close to photograph.

This one had taken up residence for the day in the gap between the window and screen of our main room, and had to be moved to prevent squashing.

The flower boxes on our railings have become ever more popular, especially as they allow the frogs to shelter from the heat during the day in the channels underneath. Although they seem surprisingly tolerant of spending time in the full heat of the sun.
