With a day to spare and a feeling we'd skimmed the edge of the High Atlas without actually seeing them well, we took a trip to Imlil, deep in a valley just over an hour to the south of Marrakech. Our guide, Bribe was his name, was ready for us, and led us through the villages up the switchbacks to have lunch in a local house (his?) at the top of the village of Aroumd, looking down to the valley and up to Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa.
